June 29th, precipitation and foggy weather.

Above, satellite image (SEVIRI) @ 10:00AM, June 29th. Shows the North-Atlantic. Most notably two low pressure weather systems far south of Greenland and another over north-western mainland of Europe and Great Britain. Nothing new to see here...

Conditions at Gufuskálar Base @ 10:00 AM. Wind from West, 270° - 4 meters per second. 1012 hPa Humidity: 94% Temp: 8,5°C Dew Point: 7,8°C

Guide Comments Nothing new this morning, humid air masses from the south prevent us from seeing the glacier. May clear up a little this afternoon but we will have to see how conditions evolve for the Midnight Sun Tour tonight. Outlook for Tomorrow

Light showers, stronger wind from the south. Probably low visibility and rain on Snæfellsjökull glacier.
